General

These general terms and conditions of sale as set out below (the “Conditions of Sale”) shall apply to Livsdal supply to you as a Customer of any of the Products listed on this website www.livsdal.com. You should carefully read the Conditions of sale before ordering any Products from this Website. By ordering any of Livsdal Products, you agrees to be bound by the Conditions of Sale. We advise you to print a copy of the Conditions of Sale for future reference.

Purchase of products

Products presented on the Website are subject to availability and may change without notice.

Your purchased Product(s) are made on order.

You will place an Order on the Website by adding the Product(s) in the shop.

Your Order for Product(s) shall be regarded as a binding agreement to purchase Product(s) under the Conditions of Sale.

Price & payment

The price(s) for the Product(s) are stated in Euro.

The price includes 25% VAT for EU deliveries. For non EU deliveries the VAT will be deducted at purchase and will be invoiced directly to you from your local customs office.

Shipment & delivery

Orders will be shipped within approximately 6-8 weeks after we receive your payment.

The Product(s) price includes world wide shipping to the destination of your choice.

Shipment is made by DHL.

The risk for the Product(s) passes to the Customer upon Delivery.

We don’t deliver to PO Box addresses.

Export outside the EU

All orders are dispatched from Sweden. Once your goods have cleared local customs, you will be contacted by the shipping representative to make detailed delivery arrangements.

You may be liable for local import duties, taxes and/or customs fees, which are charged by your government.

You are considered to be the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.

Please note that our couriers will be able to deliver goods into your home, business or storage facility but they are not responsible for unpacking of items or removal of packing materials.

Cancellation & returns

US customers

Once products ship from the Sweden, all sales are final. We will accept cancellation of your order for items that have not shipped or that are on backorder. If you wish to cancel your order you must contact us. You will then be entitled to a refund, which will be paid in the same form originally used for the purchase, but in any event within 30 days. Damaged or incorrect products will be replaced by Livsdal as described below. However, the return or exchange of items ordered in error is not permitted.

EU customers

If your order is being delivered to a country in the EU, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, if you cancel your order in writing within 14 working days of receipt of your order, this legislation entitles you to a full refund. This also applies to orders cancelled before they are dispatched.

In order to cancel your order you must Contact us by email or in writing.

If you want to return items for a refund they must be returned to us in good, unused, condition, and in their original packaging. You must arrange and pay the costs of returning the item(s) to Livsdal. We recommend that the return delivery is insured as you are under a duty to take reasonable care of the goods and will be liable for damage to them until we receive them. We also recommend that you use a reliable, trackable means to return your order to us.

Refunds will be paid in the same form originally used for the purchase as soon as possible, but in any event within 14 days.

We reserve the right to make a charge not exceeding our direct costs of recovering the products in the event that you do not return the products or you return them at our expense. We may deduct this charge from the refund.

Please note that this cancellation policy does have some limitations and does not apply to business customers or to private customers situated outside the European Economic Area.

Private customers (outside the European Economic Area) and business customers.

For private customers (outside the European Economic Area) and business customers we will only accept returns or exchanges if we are informed in writing within 48 hours of delivery.

You must arrange and pay the costs of returning the item(s) to Livsdal. A handling charge of 10% of the total value of your order will be made. While in your possession, you must keep any items you intend to return to us in good, unused, condition, and in their original packaging.

Color, finishes and materials.

The product on the pictures might not fully conform with the product that is sold and shipped. Minor differences might occur.

Please note this is a handmade product, therefore any abrasions or colour variations are to be considered a guarantee of the workmanship, not a defect. Should you have any issues with this please do not hesitate to contact our customer service team.

The wood of the cabinet are not artificial; do not subject to heat or moisture. The wood will change in color naturally when exposed to sunlight.

The top shelves are not intended to be load-bearing. Do not sit on it.

Product use & care

The Livsdal is made out of wood, steel and if you have chosen a stone top – stone. These are all natural materials which differs from air purifier to air purifier. Please also note that this is a handmade product, therefore any abrasions or colour variations are to be considered a guarantee of the workmanship, not a defect.

Excessive or prolonged exposure to sunlight can fade the color and dry the wood. You will have to re apply some wood oil onto the walnut cabinet and shelf especially in the beginning.

The stone are sensitive to acidic and salty stains. Keep that away from the stone top.

If you get any stains on the purifier use only soap. Stronger detergents should not be used. No wax or polish should be used.

If the wood appears dry you may apply some wood oil for the maintenance of furniture.

Missing, damaged, faulty or incorrect products

Missing products

If an item is missing from your order, you must notify us within seven days of delivery. You will not incur an extra delivery charge.

Damaged or incorrect products

If any boxes look like they may have been damaged during delivery, please make note of this on the courier’s paperwork before signing and take photos of the damaged boxes before opening them.

Please open the boxes immediately to check the contents. If you open the boxes to find that the items inside have been damaged in transit, please take photos and Contact us about the damage within 48 hours of receipt of your order.

We will either replace parts or entire unit of the damaged or incorrect products.

Faulty products

Your Livsdal is covered by a 5 year warranty on manufacturing or material defects and 2 year warranty on moving parts.

Amendments of the terms and conditions

We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions without notice to you from time to time. Any such amendment shall be effective once the revised terms have been posted on the website.

Privacy policy

The purpose of this policy is to set out how we use the information we collect about you, how you can instruct us if you prefer to limit the use of that information and the procedures that we have in place to safeguard your privacy.

The information we collect

In order to purchase on the website, we need to know your name, postal address, email address, telephone number, and, if you are paying by card, your debit or credit card number and expiry date.

We gather this information to allow us to process your order and provide you with the best possible service.

When you register to our newsletter we need to know your name and email address.

We gather this information to allow us to communicate with you about our products and promotions.

How we use this information

The relevant information is then used by us, our agents and sub-contractors to authenticate your identity, to validate your debit or credit card, to authorise the transaction and to communicate with you on any matter relating to the provision of the service in general. You specifically authorise us to transmit information to or to obtain information about you from third parties for these purposes.

Information you provide to us remains confidential. The internal procedures of Livsdal cover the storage, access and disclosure of your information and we will fully comply with all applicable Swedish data protection laws.

You have the right at any time to request a copy of the personal data we hold on you.

If any of the information that you have provided to us changes, for example, if you change your email address or if you wish to cancel your registration, please let us know the correct details by contacting us by telephone or email.

Your consent

By submitting your information you consent to the use of that information as set out in this Privacy Policy. If we change our Privacy Policy we will post the changes on this section of the website, so that you may be aware of the information we collect and how we use it at all times. Your continued use of the website constitutes your agreement to any such changes.

Intellectual property

The content of our website is protected by copyright, trade marks, database and other intellectual property rights and is made available for your personal non-commercial use only. You may (if necessary to place an order) download such content onto one computer hard drive or print one copy of such content for your non-commercial use, provided you keep intact all and any copyright and proprietary notices. You may not otherwise reproduce, modify, copy or distribute or use any of the content on this website without written permission from Livsdal.

Law and jurisdiction

These Conditions of Sale are subject to Swedish law. We will try to solve any disagreements quickly and efficiently. If you are not happy with the way we deal with any disagreement and you want to take court proceedings, you must do so in Sweden.

Force Majeure

If Livsdal fails to comply with the agreement because of unusual adverse circumstances outside of its control due to force majeure such as strikes, civil unrest, war or natural catastrophes such as earthquakes, volcanic action and other similar matters, then Livsdal cannot be held responsible.

Complaints and remarks

If you have a complaint or a particular remark to make, please Contact us. Any complaint will be dealt with fairly, effectively and confidentially. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.
